Too much uric acid is a brutally obvious sign of acidosis.

When it comes to what causes gout, developing a thorough understanding of how lymph and acidosis fit together better equips us to deal with our gout pain.

The Key To Understanding Gout

In this modern world, we have to be more concerned about the lymph and acidosis. The way we live adds to our acidic load daily, so becoming more proactive about how to maintain a healthy lymph system is essential to maintaining a life free from gout.

This overview of The Lymphatic System will shed more light on the importance of the connection of the lymph and acidosis:

The lymph system is an immense drainage system that works to:

  1. balance bodily fluids,
  2. fend off invaders,
  3. help move along nutrients,
  4. and remove toxic wastes.

Here’s what Dr. Gerald Lemole, author of “The Healing Diet” has to say about the lymph system.

  • When our lymphatic system is clean, we can eliminate the chance of getting diseases, which are caused as a result of a poor or malfunctioning lymph system. Many chronic illnesses such as arthritis, and health conditions such as high cholesterol, can be controlled through a cleansed and purged lymphatic system.

When we get a gout attack due to the build up of uric acid, that is just one way our body is reaching an overall state of acidosis.

Bert!!

Was watching this over the past couple weeks and counting down to my 365th “TIP”. Thank you so much!! I am a very lucky man. Bert, I have a gorgeous loving wife, 2 years ago I could barely take a walk with her due to chronic pain. I was spending more time on crutches that not, and was figuring out how we were going to remodel our home to accommodate being handicapped. 1 year ago today I signed up for your plan and began executing. I can happily say that in this year I have been able to join my wife with going back to the gym, haven’t used the crutches once, canned the handicap home plans, and also went on several SNOWBOARDING trips with my wife!!! We have more snowboarding trips planned and are thrilled to be back amongst the “Active”. Thank you for changing my life!

Regards,

Pete

How Does the Lymph System Deal With Acidosis?

Lymph capillaries are very thin. The tiny openings in them allow nutrients in the form of gases and water, to pass through to the cells to nourish them and then take away waste products. When lymph fluid leaks through like this, it is called Interstitial Fluid.

There is more lymph fluid in our bodies than blood and it’s circulated by the contraction of our muscles and the movement of our breathing.

Acidosis is when there is excess acid in the body fluids. The kidneys and the lungs work to maintain a balance of proper pH: acid and alkaline. Acidosis happens when acid waste builds up or when bicarbonate (base, buffer, alkalinity) is lost.

  • Respiratory Acidosis occurs when the lungs don’t have the ability to remove the carbon dioxide through sufficient breathing.
  • Metabolic Acidosis happens when too much (uric) acid is produced and/or the kidneys can’t excrete enough of the acid waste.

Metabolic acidosis can be caused by a number of different things: alcohol, low blood sugar, lack of oxygen, and dehydration are a few.

The acid/alkaline balance can be restored temporarily with the use of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) and alkaline-forming foods. (apple cider vinegar, lemons) However, if the same practices that created the acidosis are continued, the balance with will quickly be lost.

Summary:

In regards to lymph and acidosis, there are two major points to be carefully considered in successfully dealing with gout:

  • removing toxic waste
  • maintaining the acid/alkaline balance

A clean lymph system controls acidosis…and gout.

Bert Middleton

“I know your pain. Let me help you kill your gout for good!  And teach you to advocate for yourself and take ownership of your gout recovery, by showing you how to live the gout-free lifestyle.” Two decades ago, Bert Middleton found himself diagnosed with gout. Like 8.3 million other people in the United States (approximately 4% of the population), he struggled helplessly with the physical, emotional, social, and financial impact that gout left unchecked can have on your life. Prescription drugs were of limited help… And the terrible pain of regular gout attacks left him unable to enjoy even the simplest daily pleasures. His marriage was suffering. His finances were spiraling due to the impact gout had on his ability to work. And maintaining a social life was often nearly impossible. Tophi surgeries left him in terrible pain.  And he found himself depressed … and angry … that gout was stealing years of his life.

Until one day, after hundreds of hours of research and self-experimentation, Bert finally had a breakthrough and created a blueprint for a way of living that would prove to be “the answer” to living gout-free for nearly a decade now. Today, Bert and his “Gout Wife” Sharon devote their evenings and weekends to educating other gout sufferers on how to live the gout-free lifestyle. Showing others his 911 Emergency Response Gout Recovery Plan for getting PAINFUL gout attacks under control in as little as 4 hours. And then, how to make daily choices that keep gout under control for GOOD! So you can finally start LIVING again!
