Polyphenols are “phytonutriets” and they’re most well known as a substantial antioxidant. “Phyto” means “plant”.

We don’t need to spend too much time on this . . . unless you’re one of those analytical types that needs to know all the details. If you are, let me make this easy on you and tell you what Wikipedia has to say about polyphenols – this is a veritable gold mine of information to satisfy you:

I’m not smart enough to know what all those mondo-medical-technical terms mean, all I know is I don’t get gout anymore.

Hi Bert thanks for the reply. I to thought that as well don’t rely on the pill poppin’ cuz I have given up on the allopurinol and all those pills I was swallowing last year – it’s been great. I also have taken note of the food table you have on your site.  I wish to add that I eat the foods that are on the table but all moderately, and not the huge plates I use to have before.  I start my day every morning with my baking soda and water drink before eating and my weight has dropped.  And with all my exercise, I weigh in now at 110 kg and my pants size has dropped from 125 cm to 110.
