How Could We Forget About Breathing?

Breathing. So basic, so under-estimated, so forgotten. I mean, we don’t even have to think about it…so we don’t!  Correct, complete breathing is the starting point for effect treatment of gout.

I’ve been waiting to write this post for a while now. In the high-speed, drive-by kind of lives we live, the anxiety and stress and anticipation cause us to constrict. We tense up, contract our muscles, and we breathe in short, shallow spurts never giving our bodies and our brains the oxygen they need. The poorer our breathing habits, the less effective we are physically and mentally. I’m sure you’ve heard; “just take a deep breath…”

Breathing Done Properly

I found a great article by Mike Kramer called “An Exercise in Proper Breathing”, listen to what he has to say:

  • Experts estimate that proper breathing helps your body eliminate toxins 15 times faster than poor, shallow breathing. You’ll not only be healthier, but you’ll be able to perform better (mentally and physically) and, of course, be less stressed and more relaxed.

He goes on in the article to give us a quick and simple exercise to get us to breathe better and stronger, fast. Go have a look.

The reason I wanted so badly to do a post on how to breathe is because I think I need to work on this more than anyone. Even though I’m athletically active, I still feel I’ve never truly adopted good breathing habits . . . and that played into a long term, knock-down-drag-out War with Gout.

Bert:

Thank you for the info, I will be tuning in! Your research has been a blessing!

God Bless,

Breathing Lessons?

Because the pain of gout has so much to do with limiting and eliminating uric acid as part of gout treatment, learning how to breathe properly is extremely important. Just as the function of our breathing is a major part of how we excrete and eliminate all the wastes in our bodies and some of that is other kinds of acid waste.

Remember!  How well you breathe is a matter of life…or gout.

Bert Middleton

“I know your pain. Let me help you kill your gout for good!  And teach you to advocate for yourself and take ownership of your gout recovery, by showing you how to live the gout-free lifestyle.” Two decades ago, Bert Middleton found himself diagnosed with gout. Like 8.3 million other people in the United States (approximately 4% of the population), he struggled helplessly with the physical, emotional, social, and financial impact that gout left unchecked can have on your life. Prescription drugs were of limited help… And the terrible pain of regular gout attacks left him unable to enjoy even the simplest daily pleasures. His marriage was suffering. His finances were spiraling due to the impact gout had on his ability to work. And maintaining a social life was often nearly impossible. Tophi surgeries left him in terrible pain.  And he found himself depressed … and angry … that gout was stealing years of his life.

Until one day, after hundreds of hours of research and self-experimentation, Bert finally had a breakthrough and created a blueprint for a way of living that would prove to be “the answer” to living gout-free for nearly a decade now. Today, Bert and his “Gout Wife” Sharon devote their evenings and weekends to educating other gout sufferers on how to live the gout-free lifestyle. Showing others his 911 Emergency Response Gout Recovery Plan for getting PAINFUL gout attacks under control in as little as 4 hours. And then, how to make daily choices that keep gout under control for GOOD! So you can finally start LIVING again!
