…gout drug…now there’s a controversial topic.
If you are looking for a new gout drug, there are a couple of new pharmaceutical drugs on the market for gout: Uloric (febuxostat) and Krystexxa (pegloticase). Do they work? Who cares as long as we can cash in!
It’s time to call your broker and get in on this new gout drug deal!
Have you checked with your investment counselor? Personally, I love pharmaceutical drugs! I avoid taking them at every turn but I can’t tell you how much money I’ve made on them! (complete and total sarcasm)
What Is Your Gout Drug of Choice?
This is truly a hot button for me. The realm of western medicine is such a mixed bag; great diagnostic and trauma care but a completely out-of-control global scam in regards to “let’s ignore the common sense principals of good health and feed everyone synthetic drugs when they start to fall apart”. When it comes to drugs for gout treatment, nothing is different.

Hi Bert,
The “remedy” of BS and ACV worked immediately as you said it would. A steady diet of banana-blueberry smoothies, green tea and celery on Day 2 has kept the swelling down. Not sure what caused the flare up as we eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables, lean beef, chicken and fish, and moderate alcohol use. Your theory of too much acid, possibly caused by stress, makes sense. Will try lemon-infused water to make my body more alkaline – plus continue the bananas, celery and cherries. Other ideas welcome. The drugs the doctor prescribed were making me sick, so your remedy (other than the ACV ? was a welcome relief.

Krystexxa…New On the Block
Here’s a slice from the article titled, “New Gout Drug Krystexxa Works, But Not Without Serious Side Effects, FDA Says” that I found on Attorneyatlaw.com:
“Many people taking Krystexxa in clinical studies developed heart problems and severe allergic reactions, the FDA said. The agency has been studying Krystexxa since December 2008, when the drug’s maker, Savient Pharmaceuticals, asked for FDA approval to being marketing the drug for use in patients who have not found relief from other drugs or treatments. The FDA has repeatedly delayed making a final decision on the drug.”
Drugs for Pain, for Fun, for Gout…We’ve Got a Drug For You!
Other than this gout drug, the misuse, abuse, and overdoses of prescription pharmaceutical drugs has increased exponentially over the past 2 decades. Among them are Oxycontin, Percocet, Vicodin, Valium, Ritalin, Vioxx, and many others.
Maybe it’s time to add Basic Nutrition 101 to the curriculum to become an M.D., which according to statistics is either inadequate or non-existent.
Is the purpose of pharmaceutical drugs to “maintain health” or “manage disease”?
☆ Remember! Gout drugs are optional – so is gout.
“I know your pain. Let me help you kill your gout for good! And teach you to advocate for yourself and take ownership of your gout recovery, by showing you how to live the gout-free lifestyle.” Two decades ago, Bert Middleton found himself diagnosed with gout. Like 8.3 million other people in the United States (approximately 4% of the population), he struggled helplessly with the physical, emotional, social, and financial impact that gout left unchecked can have on your life. Prescription drugs were of limited help… And the terrible pain of regular gout attacks left him unable to enjoy even the simplest daily pleasures. His marriage was suffering. His finances were spiraling due to the impact gout had on his ability to work. And maintaining a social life was often nearly impossible. Tophi surgeries left him in terrible pain. And he found himself depressed … and angry … that gout was stealing years of his life.
Until one day, after hundreds of hours of research and self-experimentation, Bert finally had a breakthrough and created a blueprint for a way of living that would prove to be “the answer” to living gout-free for nearly a decade now. Today, Bert and his “Gout Wife” Sharon devote their evenings and weekends to educating other gout sufferers on how to live the gout-free lifestyle. Showing others his 911 Emergency Response Gout Recovery Plan for getting PAINFUL gout attacks under control in as little as 4 hours. And then, how to make daily choices that keep gout under control for GOOD! So you can finally start LIVING again!
