- Cherries for Gout, gout diet, What To Eat For Gout
Why Would That Work?
- The finding that sour cherries (Prunus cerasus L) (also called tart cherries) contain high levels of anthocyanins that possess strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties has attracted much attention to this species.
That’s good enough for me, cherries for gout it is! I’ve been going on and on about how great antioxidants are and cherries are one of the really good foods for gout. If I could just figure out how to take them with me.
Cherries for Gout Prevention – New and Improved!
We studied up pretty good about cherries on the “cherries and gout” page. Just to recap and add more to the conversation, let’s look at why getting a power-packed little capsule of cherries are going to serve the needs of people struggling with gout even better!
The biggest reason to look toward concentrated cherry extracts in a capsule is because in a daily dose you get the antioxidant power of 5 glasses of pure tart cherry juice! The last thing I want you to do is get back into that “take a pill” mindset, but if you’re having trouble dealing with life in the fast lane, getting your cherries for gout this way can help keep you out of the gout zone till you get out of town.

The “remedy” of BS and ACV worked immediately as you said it would. A steady diet of banana-blueberry smoothies, green tea and celery on Day 2 has kept the swelling down. Not sure what caused the flare up as we eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables, lean beef, chicken and fish, and moderate alcohol use. Your theory of too much acid, possibly caused by stress, makes sense. Will try lemon-infused water to make my body more alkaline – plus continue the bananas, celery and cherries. Other ideas welcome. The drugs the doctor prescribed were making me sick, so your remedy (other than the ACV ? was a welcome relief.

Getting all that free radical fighting power out of the flavonoids is not something to ignore. The better those cell membranes are working to bring in the nutrients and expel the wastes, the happier and more gout free you’re going to be!
One of the things I always had trouble with, and maybe you can relate to, was packing up good food, taking water with me, dragging around a bottle of apple cider vinegar, or having an extra box of baking soda on me just never seemed to work out.
Well the problem is solved! The folks at Traverse Bay Farms figured that out for us. Click the link to find out more!
Bottom-line: They’ve managed to pack the huge power of healthy cherries into little capsules so you and I can take them with us!

Bert Middleton, The Original Gout Killer
“I know your pain. Let me help you kill your gout for good! And teach you to advocate for yourself and take ownership of your gout recovery, by showing you how to live the gout-free lifestyle.”
Two decades ago, Bert Middleton found himself diagnosed with gout. Like 8.3 million other people in the United States (approximately 4% of the population), he struggled helplessly with the physical, emotional, social, and financial impact that gout left unchecked can have on your life.
Prescription drugs were of limited help…
And the terrible pain of regular gout attacks left him unable to enjoy even the simplest daily pleasures. His marriage was suffering. His finances were spiraling due to the impact gout had on his ability to work. And maintaining a social life was often nearly impossible.
Tophi surgeries left him in terrible pain. And he found himself depressed … and angry … that gout was stealing years of his life.
Until one day, after hundreds of hours of research and self-experimentation, Bert finally had a breakthrough and created a blueprint for a way of living that would prove to be “the answer” to living gout-free for nearly a decade now.
Today, Bert and his “Gout Wife” Sharon devote their evenings and weekends to educating other gout sufferers on how to live the gout-free lifestyle via their website TheGoutKiller.com
Showing others his 911 Emergency Response Gout Recovery Plan for getting PAINFUL gout attacks under control in as little as 4 hours.
And then, how to make daily choices that keep gout under control for GOOD!
So you can finally start LIVING again!
