The Same People That Get Diabetes and Heart Attacks

Is it you? Are you the one who gets gout? What IS gout? I constantly think about why you and so many others are here at my website.

My mission is to get a lot more feedback that tells me you’re here because you’re one of the ones who gets gout and you’ve become so concerned about the more serious complications that gout forewarns.

But That Hasn’t Happened Yet

I really shouldn’t be surprised. What started me down the road of building this website was because I found something that stopped my gout attacks. It wasn’t until I did all my reading and research that the real eye-opener hit me: because of I have gout, I’m a really good candidate for heart disease and diabetes! It was like; who gets gout? I DO! Or at least I used to.

What about you? Do you think you could have a heart attack? Or get diabetes? I know…you think you’ve just got too much uric acid. There’s an interesting statistic out there that says most people who have a heart attack never thought it could happen to them. So one more time…“do you think YOU could have a heart attack?” Since you’ve got gout, you should stop and think twice about it.

Hi

My gout started in foot and ankle, the ankle pain was fricken ridiculous but what was more ridiculous was my DR’s “who cares” attitude.  I adjusted my diet, work out, play hockey, drink water etc.  My concern is I think it may have affected my right knee.  I’m not certain but I am worried.  My biggest contributor or concern is correctly handling stress.  Please open day 2!  I couldn’t agree with you more concerning the role of TV, big pharma, plug in an prepare to be hypnotized, tv is a drug.  I would pay for a real health or lifestyle change professional over a DR in a heartbeat.

Thank you Bert

Enough Doom and Gloom  – I Think I’ve Made My Point.

If you Google around some, you’ll all sorts of connections and correlations to other diseases that seem to go hand-in-hand with gout. I’ve got a whole list and I’ll be adding more pages about them in time, but here are a few to get you going for now:

  • Heart Disease
  • Diabetes
  • Celiac Disease
  • Autoimmune

It is astounding how many different illnesses and diseases are brought on by the same poor lifestyle choices and habits and how they are so much easier to prevent with healthy living than to try to manage them after they attack.

Bert Middleton

“I know your pain. Let me help you kill your gout for good!  And teach you to advocate for yourself and take ownership of your gout recovery, by showing you how to live the gout-free lifestyle.” Two decades ago, Bert Middleton found himself diagnosed with gout. Like 8.3 million other people in the United States (approximately 4% of the population), he struggled helplessly with the physical, emotional, social, and financial impact that gout left unchecked can have on your life. Prescription drugs were of limited help… And the terrible pain of regular gout attacks left him unable to enjoy even the simplest daily pleasures. His marriage was suffering. His finances were spiraling due to the impact gout had on his ability to work. And maintaining a social life was often nearly impossible. Tophi surgeries left him in terrible pain.  And he found himself depressed … and angry … that gout was stealing years of his life.

Until one day, after hundreds of hours of research and self-experimentation, Bert finally had a breakthrough and created a blueprint for a way of living that would prove to be “the answer” to living gout-free for nearly a decade now. Today, Bert and his “Gout Wife” Sharon devote their evenings and weekends to educating other gout sufferers on how to live the gout-free lifestyle. Showing others his 911 Emergency Response Gout Recovery Plan for getting PAINFUL gout attacks under control in as little as 4 hours. And then, how to make daily choices that keep gout under control for GOOD! So you can finally start LIVING again!
